Start the selected server, keep the PS4 on the same private network, enable the local-only firewall rules as Administrator, then check Minecraft on PS4 under Friends → LAN Games. The command center does not mark this path ready until it has been tested on this network.

Windows will show one UAC prompt. Approval adds inbound rules only for the Private profile and LocalSubnet; the browser cannot provide a command, file path, or port.

APP REGISTRATION SETUP
In Microsoft Entra, create an app registration that supports personal Microsoft accounts and set Allow public client flows to Yes. Device-code sign-in uses the public Application (client) ID and requires no client secret; this form and proxy reject secret fields.
